Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
1. The deal
Fwdia is a service of Eegix CommV. ("Eegix", "we", "us"), Molenstraat 9 bus 101, 9270 Laarne, Belgium, company number 0790.651.651, VAT BE0790.651.651 (see the imprint). These terms are an agreement between you and Eegix.
Fwdia lets you build and publish micro-sites under fwdia.com addresses, with associated QR codes and features ("the Service"). By creating an account you accept these terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be 16+ (or the digital consent age in your country) and provide accurate details.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe; enable two-factor authentication for extra protection.
- One person/organization per account. Don't resell access without a partner agreement.
3. Your content
- It stays yours. You grant us the technical license needed to host, cache and display it - nothing more.
- You warrant you have the rights to everything you upload and that your pages comply with law and our AUP.
- Form data you collect makes you the data controller for it; our DPA applies to us processing it for you.
4. Addresses, QR codes & badges
- Short codes are assigned automatically; custom slugs are first-come, first-served among allowed names. Slugs that infringe trademarks or impersonate others can be reclaimed.
- QR codes resolve for as long as the associated site exists. Deleting a site or account disables its codes.
- The Verified badge is granted after a manual review and may be revoked if the verified facts change.
5. Plans, payment & refunds
Paid plans are billed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record - Paddle's checkout terms apply to the transaction; they issue invoices and handle taxes. Cancellation stops renewal; features remain until period end. You can get a full refund of any payment within 14 days - see the refund policy.
6. Availability & changes
We target high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without uptime guarantees on Free. We may evolve features with reasonable notice for material regressions on paid plans.
7. Termination
You can delete your account anytime (Account → Delete). We may suspend or terminate accounts breaching these terms or the AUP - with prior notice unless the breach is severe (illegal content, abuse, security risk).
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, and for paid plans capped at the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Responsible disclosure
Found a vulnerability? Report it via the contact form ("security"). Good-faith research within legal bounds is welcomed; we won't take action against researchers who respect user data and give us reasonable time to fix.
10. Governing law
The law of our seat (see imprint) governs, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your residence. Consumers may also use the EU ODR platform.
